6:30 AM Teams may begin set up of their equipment in tents
supplied by Disney (other than the judges' tent,
you may select the tent of your choice-- first come,
first served (so if you want to be nearer the arena,
get there early)
7:00 AM Orientation for Aerial Robotics Teams and Staff to be
held in EPCOT at the "Electronic Forum".
(recommend that you try to be at EPCOT near the
Guest Relations Window no later than 6:30 AM)
7:30 AM Teams may continue set up of their equipment.
Staff will lay out arena so Disney PPW staff can mark
white boundary lines at 8:00 AM.
8:00 AM Disney PPW staff will mark white boundary lines.
Staff will survey in potential Drum locations and
mark them.
NovAtel may begin Differential Ground Station set up.
8:15 AM All on-stage areas need to be show ready for EPCOT guests.
8:30 AM EPCOT opens for guests. Practice by teams may begin if ready.
9:00 AM Static Judging begins with first team and proceeds according
to the following schedule:
1. Georgia Institute of Technology 9:00 AM
2. Massachusetts Institute of Technology 9:45 AM
3. Oakland University 10:30 AM
4. Purdue University 11:15 AM
LUNCH 12:00 PM
5. Stanford University 1:45 PM

MONDAY JULY 15, 1996

6:30 AM Teams may enter EPCOT.
7:30 AM 1996 International Aerial Robotics Competition begins.
8:15 AM All on-stage areas need to be show ready for EPCOT guests.
8:30 AM EPCOT opens for guests.
1:00 PM (Estimated end time for Intl. Aerial Robotics Competition)
2:00 PM Put vehicles on static display at arena and answer questions
by interested EPCOT guests/media.
5:00 PM Shut down, close tents. Free time until 7:00 BBQ dinner.
7:00 PM Awards BBQ dinner being hosted at EPCOT's "Imageworks"
(Free tickets to this dinner will be handed out to the
teams. Winners of both the aerial and ground robotics
competitions will be announced at this time. A seperate
and more formal awards luncheon will be held on Thursday,
July 18, 1996 in the Exhibit Hall at the AUVSI Symposium
located next to Disney's Contemporary Resort (near EPCOT)).
TUESDAY JULY 16, 1996

8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Exhibit Hall set up. Teams are encouraged to
bring their entries for display at the Exhibit Hall
throughout the Symposium. Set up of a static
display of your vehicle should be done at this time
by removing all remaining equipment from EPCOT
(tents) and taking it to the Exhibit Hall at the
Contemporary Resort Exhibit Hall.
